The Locanda Villa d’Epoca is located in the idyllic village of Ronchini di Aurigeno in the Maggia Valley and combines historic charm with warm Ticino hospitality. Built in 1896, the villa has been lovingly restored and offers guests a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. Thanks to its central location, it is an ideal starting point for excursions into the surrounding valleys, to Locarno, or to Lake Maggiore. Since 2024, the Locanda has been managed by Elisabetta Martinoli, who brings her many years of culinary experience and passion for Ticino cuisine to the establishment.
The restaurant focuses on homemade dishes and regional specialties. The menu changes with the seasons and includes fresh ravioli, gnocchi, risotto, brasato, rabbit, as well as game dishes and fresh porcini mushrooms in autumn. Great importance is placed on high-quality regional products and careful, traditional preparation. The well-kept garden and cosy interiors invite guests to enjoy relaxing moments in a welcoming family atmosphere.
